Salumeria Rosa in Manhattan offers a delightful array of culinary delights, from roasted peppers and anchovies over arugula to homemade pasta with meatballs. While some dishes may be on the pricier side for the portion size, the quality of the food shines through. However, some reviewers have noted a slight disorganization in the seating process and slower service at times. Despite these minor hiccups, the restaurant's offerings of delectable French onion soup, Elk special with a wine/blueberry reduction, and creamy fettuccine alfredo make it a worthwhile dining destination. With fresh and delicious dishes like carbonara and lasagna, attentive waitstaff, and a pleasant atmosphere, Salumeria Rosa continues to impress. Whether enjoying the outdoor seating or the cozy indoor atmosphere, patrons can expect a great experience with great food and cocktails, making a return visit a must.
The waiter was great but the food for the prices. The portions felt very small.
Great spot for a date. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the food as well as the drinks. Evan our server was 10/10 all around amazing service and experience. Carbonara and Pesto pasta were amazing. The ricotta cheesecake dessert was outstanding. Will definitely be back for more date nights. Thank you!
One of our favorites in Manhattan! Excellent restaurant — love the menu options and the way things are presented. Does get a bit crowded in this small venue, and for the first time, service felt rushed. Excellent choice.
Me and a friend went last night to celebrate a friend who lost his life 2 years ago. We sat at the bar which is very small having only 3 seats but, I loved it and preferred it over the regular seats that are pretty close. They have outdoor sitting aswell. We started with a beautiful appetizer of fried artichoke! Ummm yummy I had the Caesar salad which was very good andsince I love tomatoes I asked them to add them and I loved how big and beautiful they were. My friend had the watermelon saladthat I tasted and loved too and so did she. I ordered the lasagna and she had the spaghetti with clams. Both were good andI’m about to eat leftovers now. We didn’t have dessert but, I ordered the prosciutto with fresh mozzarella and omg it wasamazing! I only wish I had crackers to eat it on. The staff was amazing and they all checked on us to make sure we were okayand enjoying everything and I wish I remembered every name but, there’s a guy that works at the bar who is a real hoot andtruly entertaining! ???? I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will be visiting again myself. Excusetypos(sent from iPhone)
