other participating restaurants for the current restaurant week event. I went on a Saturday and they don't do restaurant week menu on Saturday, but the normal menu price is quite similar. they serve really good somalian/east African food; in any case check this place! I really like the goat in hilib ari dish a little too salty when they eat it by themselves, but the taste equals when it is with rice or the sabaayed (... View all feedback.

The food was good, but the service was frustrating. I made three requests and only received two. I ordered four bark samosas but was given two vegetarian ones instead. I didn't realize the mistake until I had been driving home for an hour. Additionally, the menu had only a limited selection. I would consider returning, but I'm not keen on it. View all feedback.
I tried Somali food for the first time and we'll definitely return. We came for breakfast but plan to sample the larger main courses for dinner next time. The sambosas and spiced tea with goat milk were standout dishes. Everything was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and expertly spiced!
This may be a small, unassuming restaurant, but the food is incredibly delicious. I visited with my parents, who are usually quite picky about restaurant food, and they thoroughly enjoyed their meals here. As vegetarians, we ordered the sambusas, a vegan wrap, and the mango veggie curry. Everything was bursting with flavor and tasted fantastic. The tea was excellent as well.
Really outstanding vegetarian food. We had the vegetarian sambusas and sabaayad and even my husband, a total carnivore, fell in love. The mango curry chicken was also good. The grapefruit juice was delicious. Sorry I forgot to take the picture until afterwe dove in!
I also dined here for breakfast and enjoyed the Qaxwo (coffee) along with Malab iyo Malawax (crepes). The coffee was excellent, infused with ginger and possibly cardamom and cinnamon. The crepe was tasty as well, especially with the syrup drizzled with cinnamon. The atmosphere is laid-back and cozy, with a clean setting and music playing softly in the background. The service was good too. I will definitely return to try more items from their halal menu!
First time trying Somalian food. Mango curry veggie was delicious and so was the hibiscus juice drink. There was one gentleman taking orders, waiting on tables, and preparing food but he was very nice, quick, and efficient. Would recommend if you?ve neverhad Somalian food and would like an introduction to it!
