This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The cocktails are like a work of art, made with ingredients such as moss, stones, and smoke. The dishes never disappoint, especially the oysters. I recommend arriving early as the cozy space fills up quickly. Sitting at the bar gives you a front row seat to watch the skilled bartenders craft their amazing cocktails. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rokc:
The service was good but the ramen lacked depth of flavor. The sauce was buttery and light, it didn't pack a punch like ramen is supposed to. The noodles did have a nice bite and texture though. There was also one small piece of chicken in my Sapporo, definitely could have added at least one more. The drinks that we had were OK but looked better than they actually tasted. The place is also very small and doesn't allo... View all feedback.
This hidden gem in Harlem is truly a hidden treasure. Despite being tucked away, the line of people waiting outside even in the cold November rain speaks volumes about the quality of this place. I don't usually visit Japanese restaurants as I am not very familiar with the cuisine, but I was pleasantly surprised when my friends brought me here. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Be sure to get there when they open at 4PM to avoid the crowds, as this place fills up quickly. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. All I can say is to give it a try and enjoy the experience.
This is my favorite restaurant. I have been coming here for years because it is worth the wait and the price. The staff is very friendly and they serve unique cocktails. They are always consistent and willing to help if something isn't to your liking. My only suggestion would be that they add rugs or sound cushions to the ceiling to help with the noise level. It can be difficult to have a conversation when it's crowded. Overall, I rate it 10/10.
This Japanese ramen restaurant is really impressive. They have a wide selection of cocktails with creative designs and presentations. I ordered the matcha cocktail and my friend had the grapefruit, and we both enjoyed them. The pork belly bun was okay, but the spicy fried chicken bun was delicious. We also tried the Kyoto and Sapporo ramen dishes, which we really liked. However, the bill added up quickly, totaling $110 with tip.
Excellent but somewhat expensive. If you can grab their happy hour oyster deal, it's great. The oysters are delicious but tiny. Their spicy fried chicken sandwich was delicious, as were all the cocktails there. The highlight of the exprience for me was theSmoke cocktail which was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. My friends and I agreed that it tasted like being in a woodcabin. It was phenomenal. I've taken to recreating it at home.
ROKC had a very nice and welcoming vibe. It was a cute little establishment that served great drinks and good food. The drink menu is expansive. You would have no problem finding any drink you could like! The food was good, but I wish they had largerportions. Expect to pay the same amount for the drink as you do food. The whole menu is between $15-$20.
