This trendy restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences according to recent online reviews. While some found the food to be mediocre, others raved about standout dishes such as bread pudding, mushrooms, and lamb chops. Some felt the prices were a bit high for the portion sizes, while others praised the cocktails and wine selection. The staff received mixed reviews, with some finding them friendly and welcoming, while others felt the service was lacking. Overall, Peque seems to be a neighborhood favorite with its charming ambiance and diverse menu options.
Cozy welcoming place, friendly staff, refined tapas, outstanding wines and a great selection of beers. Plus, they have live music regularly. Very convenient walk from either the 3 or A B C D subway stations. I can't wait to try every item on the menu. It's always a pleasure to return there.
Love this place! A real local gem. Excellent margaritas and wine list, good (but not intrusive) service, and great food, with a good balance of vegetarian and carnivore offerings. the bread pudding is definitely a winner (and I don't usually like breadpudding). The musics not bad either.
Great place! small as the name indicates, so I recommend a reservation. good mood.
I recently hosted a private event at Peque, and I was absolutely impressed by the atmosphere and the staff. Every guest I spoke to that evening praised the food and service. I will definitely recommend Peque to my family and friends for future events!
