Mel's Burger - New York

My son and I had stopped here for lunch. The burgers were very, very greasy, and very expensive- $14.95 with an extra charge of $4.50 for fries and very small too. Essentially the size of a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder. Service was indifferent.

A very nice and cozy local pub good burger and ipa bier. make them a good cosmo. the bartender was great. I had the bone wing, the other burger had all agreed, was fair value and good part. I'm going back.

The burgers are tasty, but a bit small and the side of the zets/frries is not very generous. I'm not a wing type in the rule, but their smashed wings are fantastic really fleshy and crispy. this is a good place to watch a game and have some standard American fare. the interieur is quite cool, they have a good time.

For a Friday night it was not so busy, but the service was a little slow. the eating was average and quickly came out, but the way the burger tasted and shaped seemed frozen. the best we probably had from there were the dry wings. drinks were also average.

Seriously?! $9 for it! It looks like someone ate half of my pommes! I was so happy for a good burger and pommes after work, and I have hard damaging pommes and small, hard and carburized burgers. great disappointment, never again.
