First time in NY and wanted some sushi. Decided to try something walking distance from our hotel and saw this spot on DoorDash. Got the standard combo with spicy crab roll (it was okay and shrimp tempura roll (really good! with a side of Seafood soup which was also really good! I would definitely come here again! Booked a table for 2, but in reality you don't really need it. There were many (cute) outdoor seating. The menu is quite small. The food wasn't good. The service was okay. The server comes to you with an iPad ordered everything you want, but did not come back to check on you. Overall it is a 4 out of 5 — value taste of sushi was not there. View all feedback.
I really liked this place. It has very fresh salmon. But I recently got food poisoning from sushi rolls, edamame or the miso soup that I ate. Such a bummer because it's been good for a dozen times or so I've eaten from here though somewhat pricey.
Nice little spot for a quick bite of sushi. This is a great little spot with fair prices for the portions you get. The hand rolls are very good, and the wrapper used is pretty slick. Nice staff, and they were very quick.Food: 5/5
Maki maki has been on my list for a while now and I'm so glad I was able to pop in today! When I went there was no line and I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Ordering was easy and the menu was clearly labeled with a GF for gluten free items. I got the salmon avocado hand roll and it was amazing. The perfect quick afternoon snack after a day of wandering around the city. The experience of taking off the wrapper was fun and the food was very fresh! Great food and reasonable prices. I'll be back!
Great quick service sushi place. Pretty reasonably priced as well. The staff was okay, not the nicest but nothing terrible.Fish is fresh and delicious. It's a very small store with limited seating.
Tasty quick sushi and good indoor/outdoor seating options for a quick bite.The rolls aren't the most consistently shaped, but the fish had nice flavor and the ratios of fish to rice were good.Remember to use the free hand roll check-in special!
