I had high expectations for this restaurant, as it had received good reviews and was located next to the New Museum of Contemporary Art. However, I was disappointed when the glass of French chardonnay I ordered tasted like it had been open for too long and was not fresh. The waitress kindly replaced it with another type of white wine that was better. The menu was overwhelming for a quiet restaurant, and my hopes began to dwindle. Despite this, I decided to order the branzino, thinking it would be a safe choice. Unfortunately, the fish was old and unpleasant, even though it was presented beautifully on a plate with roasted tomatoes and potatoes. I would not return to this restaurant, but I must commend the waitress for her efforts to make the dining experience better.
The hostess appeared to be distracted and took a while to seat us, even though the restaurant was not busy. However, the servers made up for her behavior with their charming attitude. Unfortunately, there were inconsistencies in the dessert timing, with some arriving immediately and others taking 15 minutes. As the dining room filled up, the noise level became uncomfortably loud.

I had high hopes for this restaurant...it seemed to have good reviews and it was next to the New Museum of Contemporary Art The glass of French chardonnay tasted like the bottle had been open for a week and had been sitting under the sink ready to be used for cooking wine. The waitress graciously brought me a glass of another type of white wine, which was at least fresh, and adequate The menu was too large for an un-busy restaurant and my heart sank a little. But I ordered the branzino, which I thought was a fresh and safe bet. Unfortunately the fish was high...really old and off and sickening. Made worse by being presented well on a lovely plate with roasted tomatoes and potatoes. I would never go back. However the waitress was again gracious and did all she could to salvage the situation.
