A magical night : . Romantic and intimate atmosphere, warm and inviting surroundings and food so delicious it rendered my boyfriend and myself speechless for a good 20 minutes (a VERY rare occurrence . The service was first rate, entertaining even and the wine was simply wonderful. At $49 prix fixe per person, I felt that the value was beyond excellent. We were looking for a romantic dinner with great quality food (w... View all feedback.

The interiors of the house are very well done, in a classic English style. The environment and ambiance of the tea house felt authentic and well done. There was a lot of variety of food offered during the afternoon tea menu which looked pretty impressive. The food quality however was a 5/10. King’s Carriage house has been one of our favorite afternoon tea places for years. This is the second time we had a baby shower there, just the biggest room this time,It’s a very charming place with full British afternoon tea experience and personalized menu. Beautiful atmosphere. Each room has different decor and size. Great location as well. Love going there.Paul has been amazingly helpful.

There are many restaurants in NYC where you could get a much better culinary experience with equal ambiance. Definitely not worth the price.I would recommend this place purely for the aesthetic experience, not the food.
I love this place the food is delicious and generous, and the setting is absolutely delightful. Paul, the owner, makes you feel welcome, and although I've probably stayed over the official time limit for both visits (I was there for my birthday in December), we were never rushed or made to feel like our time was limited. I think they know that after stuffing yourself, you'll want to take a walk around the lovely upper west side neighborhood. So, I've been twice, so I'm officially a return customer! And I will be back it's the kind of place that's fun to take friends to just to see their delight!
This is such a find!! I love high tea and this was more of the cozy vibe kind of afternoon tea with cute mismatched teapots and silverware. You felt like you were in your grandmas house and I loved it!! The food was really good and I was so full by the end. This is a great place for a girls day or a family outting. It’s a bit of a right space but the staff was still really attentive and I had a great time.
10/10 for the atmosphere! It is absolutely gorgeous, the decorations, furniture, the plates and everything else. The floor tho is very old and you feel it sinking under your weight and some spots have a big holes on it. Could be dangerous if you wear heels.8/10 Service is nice, but you totally feel Britishness in it.6/10 The food is diverse and enough to feel fool. Bread was a bit dry and cucumber sandwiches missed some cream or butter to them. Scones were amazing!!! They are warm and moist just perfect amount to have them with jam and sour cream. It is expensive. The cheapest package is $38 and with tips and comes up to $50. This is not a restaurant, food could definitely be improved for the price paid. But this is an experience and I recommend people to try it!
