What User doesn't like about Fieldtrip Harlem:
I really enjoy the dishes at this restaurant. The prices were also great, making it one of the best deals in the city. However, I was disappointed to see that they have now increased their prices for smaller portions. It's a bit of a letdown, as there doesn't seem to be a good reason for the price hike. Additionally, I don't think the TV displaying the menu is necessary and just adds unnecessary costs for customers. View all feedback.
I was pleasantly surprised by how the crispy fish bowl stayed fresh and crunchy without any sogginess. The lime cilantro rice was delicious, along with the wok veggies. The passion and thyme tea had a great flavor with a nice balance of ingredients and sweetness.
I have never written a food review before, but this meal was exceptional. The prices were also fair. My only critique is that I would have preferred more vegetables and less coconut rice. The portion of rice in each bowl seemed quite generous, almost like having two servings.
The food was delicious. The Fried Chicken bowl was amazing and made me want to order from them again right away. Nana's bread was a tasty appetizer before the main course.
SO delicious. Great flavors, prepared really well, very reasonably priced. 10/10
I personally like my salmon a little under, but the textures and flavors of the Salmon bowl were exquisite. Gumbo is as good, and perfect for the cold. Oh, and the dragonfruit lemonade. FIRE.
