I love doughnut plant to begin with but theyre the best. Quick delivery and they called to see what I wanted because they were out of the Brooklyn Blackout(my favorite) and sent a bunch of extras. The best. View all feedback.
What Amanda W doesn't like about Doughnut Plant:
It's not the quality donuts I remembered it to be. I ordered the tres leche, peanut butter banana cream and the strawberry sourdoughnut. All tasted light, partly fluffy but nothing special. At over $5 a donut, I feel like it didn't meet the standards and I've had better donuts elsewhere. View all feedback.
Wonderful woman working here! Very kind, sweet, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend because the donuts are exceptional.
Jeanette and Tiana were amazing hosts at the LES location. We came back two days in a row because the food, drinks and people were just wonderful. Haribol!
Awesome experience. Tiana was so friendly! I’m from Ohio and I will definitely come back here next time I’m in town. There’s gluten free and vegan too! Still don’t know how they get filling into those round donuts but dang so great, best donuts/service in NYC.
At the Grand St main location of Doughnut Plant, I have tried many of the doughnuts and like the sourcing of natural and fresh fruits and nuts in the recipes and the high quality french soy-free Valrhona chocolate. The staff are very friendly and have let me try a free doughnut. My favorite doughnuts are the Wild Blueberry cake, Valrhona Chocolate Hazelnut cake, Peanut Butter and Jam and Super Seeds GF cake. All have a more real flavor and nutrition, yet sweetness from the more natural fruit, nuts, seeds, and chocolate.
One of my must stop spots when I'm back in the city. It's a donut shop so I'm not going to over kill the review. They've got amazing options every day. My favorite to mix with a coffee is the marcana almond donut. There's actually too many good ones to really declare a true favorite, or to even go into detail about each of them. They've got ice cream and different coffee options. There's a few scattered throughout the city. In my opinion it is worth making a stop if you're nearby. Some notes really quickly: if you have a nut allergy I'd suggest you probably just err on the side of caution and avoid it. They use nuts in the facility and they post a warning about it.
