What a treat! The history is fascinating and the business has been around for so many years! I thought it was so cool how the Cortés family put stories with images in the wrappers and some people even learned to read from them when they bought chocolate many many years ago. There is a museum in old San Juan with more information, but since I didn’t have time and was by Condado Beach, it was perfect for a quick stop-in! I got the avocado toast and it was so good and special, and I had it with the Puerto Rican hot chocolate that came with a small cube of cheese to put in it before you drink it! The cheese cube became warm and took in some of the chocolate so when you are done you can try it. This definitely inspired me to incorporate chocolate into savory meals!
Dishes are innovative, fresh, and delicious! Dine-in if you can to catch the vibes but their delivery is solid too.
All of their food is really good great mix of ingredients, textures, and tastes, well prepared, full of color.
