Food was great! The staff was friendly although I think there was only one person who worked almost everything, which meant that everything was a little slower than it could have been. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New China House:
The staff is very nice and helpful. The vegetable fried rice was amazing and superfluous! Also the Shrimp Lo Mein was excellent! General Tso's chicken was great, but the extra sharp one was not sharp yet. We also ordered Kung Pow and Szechuan Chicken, but was not my top selection from other places. View all feedback.
5/5 service. Server was amazing, so wonderful and well maintained. Always sure I and my family were good. The boss came out to ask how our meals were, our meals were fresh and tasty. I wish nothing but the best for this institution and I cannot expect to come back!
Everything was delicious! We ordered 50.00 Worth Of Food! Portions were plentiful! Our delivery driver was Brian... he was free, friendly and on the ball! Thank you. This place is fantastic! We had a big mother's day! Highly engaged! Best Chinese food in Hudson Valley!
My Chinese restaurant in New Paltz. Although not as good as the Chinese restaurants I once visited in Manhattan, this place has a home quality in its excellent dumplings, delicious sauces and freshly roasted crispy noodles. The menu is a cut over New Paltz's other take-out joint, offers chicken-corner soup (which is hard to find in this area) and numerous muted options. I would give the place five stars if the corn was mixed into a puree and there were more chicken in the soup! That's how it's done in Manhattan. Also many Chinese restaurants of Manhattan have delicious veggie protein options that add variety and taste to the typical tofu vegetable dish, and they offer scrambledries in broth instead of oil that taste without calories and fat. Also are the wonderful slimy black mushrooms that offer a clamp of Chinese cuisine in the city here. Not sure why these options and techniques are not drawn to the Hudson River right now....
Been eating there for over 30 years, the MOO GOO GUY PAN IS THE BEST, AND OWNERS ARE THE BEST, ALWAYS GREET WITH A SMILE AND A KIND WORD
