Verret's Lounge - New Orleans

Jake and Voddie are amazing hosts at the bar. They always make me feel welcome and provide a safe space if needed. Be sure to visit them at Verret's as soon as possible, it's definitely worth it. They also have a great selection of drinks available!

I live nearby and have passed by this place so many times on the way to work, but I never had the chance to stop until today. I was looking for a fun place to celebrate my birthday and I have never been one for the crazy crowd that frequents Bourbon Street. This place is truly a hidden gem for those who just want to relax and have a drink. The bartender is lovely and so friendly, the drinks are affordable and strong, and I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday there! It's like the New Orleans version of Cheers. I hope they will eventually have karaoke on weekends, but I will definitely be visiting more often from now on.

We had a fantastic night at this restaurant. A group of friends visiting from Philadelphia, we immediately felt at home when we saw the bartender's "Jawn" tattoo. Mariah, the bartender/bouncer, and her dog Nae Nae were the highlight of our night. We can't praise this place enough for its great atmosphere, drinks, and prices. Keep up the fantastic work! <3

Always an interesting time. was impressed that she had jameson during the great Jameson apron of 2022! enjoyed the bartender princessin costume.

Safe inside and outside seating. Great service and cold drinks. Customers are friendly and fun loving. Staff is on point and politeness is really important for everyone. ???????
