This charming Mexican restaurant is tucked away near Royal Street. It wasn't our first choice, but we found ourselves here with no wait time. It's a pleasant sit-down place where you can order at your leisure. We enjoyed salsa and chips while we browsed the menu. The Abita Amber (in a bottle) and blended margarita were both excellent. What Jessica B doesn't like about Country Flame:
Do yourself a favor and never order food from this restaurant. I could make better queso from a jar. I took one bite of the tacos and instantly threw them away—they were completely inedible. The next day, I went to the grocery store and made myself way better Mexican food. This place has really gone downhill. View all feedback.
Not many vegan options and they are not marked on the menu, but our server was really helpful and discussed everything with us. we had appetizers and main thing, all hearty, tasty and cheap.
Our server was amazing!! He was so helpful and knew exactly how to make our order right for US. Total unpretentious. Prices make sense (unlike others in the quarter). HUGE portions. We had the plantain fajita...and it was so amazing!!! What a great option for us to eat! So filling. The food is traditional, down-to-earth, filling, flavourful, and made THERE. Love this wholesome option that we found on the fly. Would definitely hit it up again!
Was on bourbon street with no idea what to eat. We ended up finding this place, which was super close. Our server Brian was so helpful! The vegan fajitas were so good. My fiancé and I were super full! Would highly recommend!
There are quite a few choices most everything vegetarian is vegan ot can be made so if you ask for no cheese. staff was lovely and portions were huge!
Very nice place, the waitress was nice and helpful with finding vegan options. Ate vegan fajita, lots of food and very delicious.
