Joey's Red Hots - New Lenox

I really enjoy going to Joey's restaurant. My favorite dishes are the chili cheese dog and fries, which are both delicious and reasonably priced. However, I didn't give them a perfect rating because I personally didn't enjoy their pizza from the counter at all. Additionally, they use pre-made frozen patties for their burgers, which I think could be improved by making them fresh. Overall, I believe Joey's has the potential to become a great burger spot with some adjustments.

I usually enjoy dining at this restaurant, but today I was very frustrated. I ordered a slice of cheese and sausage pizza and had to wait over 20 minutes for it. I don't have unlimited time for lunch, so it would have been helpful if they had informed me before ordering that they were out of sausage pizza. I would have chosen something else instead. Instead, they made me wait without any explanation until I finally had to ask.

We ordered the 18-inch Supreme Pizza. The pizza was large and reasonably priced. The overall flavor was delicious and the pizza was not greasy. The toppings and cheese were generous. This is definitely a great place to get pizza in the New Lenox area. We felt that we got our money's worth at $22. We will definitely be returning!

Been there twice in the past week. First time had the Maxwell Street Polish. Great price. My preference would be more color to the onions and thinner sliced. Still overall very good. Now on the other hand, the second trip was for the gyros platter. This is a very large and generous portion of gyros and fixings, this would be 2 orders at other places, plenty leftover for latter. No need for the fries, as the price is outstanding for the amount of food given. If you love gyrosoff the spit and grilled up, this is hands down one the best gyros platters I've had in a very long time.

1st. time there went a banquet party for my son grandson. Food was great, nice place. Food was GREAT. Service from staff was 5 stars. Banquet room was spacious, could be set for sports atmosphere or kids birthday. Close to expressway if you want to get away from the city. Parking no problem. Just a wonderful evening with great food, great people. Will be stopping there again with friends that never been there.
