Maverick's (formerly O'maddie's Cafe)

This is an excellent breakfast spot with a friendly staff! They offer fantastic fresh-baked goods, particularly the brownies, coffee cake, and cinnamon rolls. The daily specials are amazing too. We drive 20 minutes each way just to enjoy it—definitely worth the trip!

We visited Mavericks this morning while on our way home from the Berkshires, and we're so glad we did! The owner was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic about having us there. He allowed us to sample several of his delicious homemade sauces and prepared some fantastic sandwiches, including one that wasn't even on the menu! Everything is fresh, and most of the items are made from scratch. I will definitely make it a point to stop by this place whenever I'm in the area again.

The new ownership offers fantastic food in a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Best of all, they’ve extended their hours to 4 PM. Now, on our journeys between Vermont and New Jersey, we can easily stop in New Lebanon for a late lunch!

What a treat! The customer service was fantastic—such lovely people! The prices were reasonable, and the food was exquisite. The cafe was spotless. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with Vermont cheddar, egg, ham, arugula, and dijonnaise, and it was absolutely heavenly. We will definitely return!

Fresh, delicious sandwiches made to order! The bread is always fresh, and there's a fantastic selection of fillings. We stop by every time we’re en route to Vermont! Plus, the bathroom is excellent and very clean!
