What User doesn't like about Great Wall:
After a good meal of dim sum we were shocked by the bill. Typically dim sum for 2 is$35 in any big city like New York or Boston. Instead we paid $72 for 10 small plates. The dishes were delicious and the service was pleasant. But this is not typical pricing for Chinese fare. I would advise anyone to check the prices before dining or certainly to check your appetite. Or wait for New York. View all feedback.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in America! They have an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, along with super fresh seafood options. It's perfect for families, with plenty of seating available and prompt service. My favorite dishes are the broccoli in garlic sauce and the sweet lo mein. They are very accommodating with special requests; I like to order my lo mein with just brown sauce, broccoli, and steamed bean sprouts—nothing else—and it's delicious! The General Tso's tofu dish is also fantastic.
The food is consistently good, but the service can be a bit slow. It's a great place if you're not in a hurry. It tends to get pretty crowded around midday, but you'll find it easier to get a seat in the late afternoon. They missed some opportunities during renovations and their new investment project, but they remain a community staple. The addition of housing nearby is ideal for the city.
Quick, tasty, and affordable lunch option. You can choose three items with rice for just $11, and I was in and out in no time. This is a step above typical fast food takeout. Just so you know, I don’t give 5 stars to fast food or takeout—4 stars is my maximum. Definitely recommended!
Very accommodating and peter, the owner. delicious food to very affordable trips.
After much awaited time and renovations, the restaurant is back open. Me and my family have been waiting such a long time for dim sum to open back up. Man.....were we disappointed. So much money was spent on renovating, that the quality of there food is below subpar, everything seems to be frozen and not fresh It also seems that they have jacked up there prices to nearly double of what they were previously prior to renovation. Do yourself a favor and drive to Uncasville and go to Golden Palace, by far the best dim sum around and at half the cost. DO NOT GO TO GREAT WALL!!! You are wasting your money, you're better off ordering Chinese food.
