The Happy Cheese - New Forest

We were warmly greeted and we have to commend Fiona, Rachael, and Billy for their excellent service and delicious food. Fiona in particular stood out for engaging with us and making us feel like valued guests.

We went there to celebrate my birthday! There were 15 of us and everyone loved the food and service. It was top-notch all around! I highly recommend it.

The pub is beautifully clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the desserts. The prices are reasonable and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Absolutely awful. You’d think that an establishment in the New Forest would be more of a high end experience, but no. The food was cheaply priced for the area to be fair, but then the standards warranted this. The service? Insulting to any paying customer, I’m not sure how the place can survive in this day and age like this. AVOID.

Stopped at the happy cheese late Saturday night for dinner before an early morning ferry to IOW. Food was excellent and served quickly. Was really busy due to the festive period so was surprised how quick the service was, even at the bar when ordering. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Had issues with the booking app (book on table) but staff helped us out with that. Lovely setting and set up. Proper family feel pub and Bella’s gelato parlour was a lovely touch. Lovely touch with the Xmas decor too. Would love to go back in summer time to enjoy the beer garden. Was able to leave vehicle there overnight which was a huge bonus!
