the cakes and baked are all so delicious and beautiful! I was four or five times. I usually buy $30-40 worth of things each time for a family of five. I also like to have small tastes of several articles. I've never had a bad bite. View all feedback.
Arguably the best croissant in Brisbane. A really nice French cafe located in New Farm. Very conveniently they also offered mini croissants. Their cake is also nicely presented, tasty and not overly sweet (which is always the most important thing) Every time we visit we will always take away some cake or bread, overall a must-try place if you are a pastry-lover.
A nice Parisienne experience - it's been a few years since I've been back to Chouquette. There wasn't many cake slices offered the last time I was here. But today, it took me by surprise as I saw many different flavours displayed in their cabinet. I would have went ahead with their croissants and other pastries but I was still full from a large breakfast, so I instead just went with 2 cake slices - Ruby Desir and Caramelia. Both flavours were nice, the only down side for me was the fillings in the cakes were a bit heavy (e.g. Loads of chocolate mousse filled in the caramelia) and then there was also the salted caramel mousse on the outside as well. The Ruby Desir wasn't too bad though - balanced flavours :) Overall, an enjoyable experience! :) Thank you Chouquette!
My partner and I are regulars here. Tried many desserts over the last year. Must try the dulce tart. The coffee here is good. Also would get the pork roulette baguette.
Been here a couple of times in the past but recently had the pleasure of re-visiting Chouquette for Sunday breakfast with friends. Queues at Chouquette waxes and wanes over the morning - don't expect a table once you arrive, and get ready to grab a table once someone leaves. We got a latte, almond croissant, pain au chocolate, wholemeal sourdough and goats cheese tart (not all at once of course, got a goody bag to take home). Highly recommend each and every one. The pastries were deliciously flaky with flavourful fillings. The savoury tart was yummy, not too salty at all. Chouquette continues to be one of the frontrunners in Brisbane's french bakeries! Will definitely be back.
The chocolate croissant was very good, but I was kinda disappointed, with such high ratings I expected something amazing and it just wasn't. We also struck the problem of no way for a solo diner to reserve a seat and take away was therefore the best option for me, with Wilsons Outlook around the corner this turned out to be a good option
