Third time in a row I've tried to call in a take-out order and can't get through. Had to place my order at the window and wait 1/2 hour for the order. Pointed out to the girl at the window and she told me they shut the phone off because it gets too busy. Great place, and people but inconvenient when you want to place a takeout order. Found a dead ant in my onion rings after a couple bites of my dinner. Brought it to our waiters attention. She brought it into the kitchen asked the kid on the fried station about it. (We could see through the window on swinging kitchen door. Came back out and told us it was a crumb from the friolator. It was not. I didn't eat my dinner except for maybe two onion rings and a haddock nugget before I found the ant. The server didn't ask if I'd like to order anything else instead, or offer to touch bases with the manager.

Just spent $75.00 on dry seafood and other food. Haddock and scallops doesn 't even taste like it. My son has buffalo tenders and said they were awful even after adding more hit sauce. "Hard to eat "he said. I lived in Northwood and ate at that Johnsons all the time. Not at all happy with New Durrum. Asked if they put tarter sauce in the bag...The girl had no idea. No one came back to the window after we picked up the food. Couldn 't get any help after I paid. I don 't know why I even tipped them. Never again will I go back. Yuck.
