El Canelo - New Castle

OK I didn't have the greatest experience I ordered. Nachos with queso sauce.There is absolutely no flavor I was so unimpressed with any of the food Parking: Tons of parking

I am only posting this in hopes the people who own it, see it, and intervene. I ordered steak and chicken fajita and the whole top of it was black, (pictured after I mixed it around) I can't believe they legitimately serve this to us. I wasn't going to post anything, but the tamale with no filling was the last straw.... the corn tortillas tasted like they had been out for a long time and congealed together into one large tortilla tasted like wet dog. Pollo Asado was a brick condensed cheese and rice because the cheese was not mixed properly. It used to be really good. Will try again in six months if it gets any better will delete.

Everyone there is so kind and helpful and the food is always amazing

Small, quiet little tex-mex place. If you're into this kind of food (Chipotle, Mad Mex, El Paso), then you will like going here to eat. They also have birria tacos, which are a rare find. Service we got was also excellent. Our server, which I believe was also the manager, was very kind and quick with food delivery. If you like this kind of food, I would recommend going here.

I had ordered food to go and overall the food was good but it doesn't present well after traveling with it. The lettuce, tomato and sour cream mix was smeared all over and most of our dishes were soggy. I imagine the food would have been much better if eaten right in the restaurant. They gave us a tiny bag of chips and a container of salsa that you typically find dressing to go with 6 meals. Another perk of eating in the restraunt is unlimited chips and salsa.
