What Tasha Barlow doesn't like about A Ya So Nice Authentic Jamaican Food:
The food is so nasty. I truly tried it 3xs every year it gets worse. The gravy always tastes burned. The rice is sweet no flavor. They need a better cook to help their business. Never again. View all feedback.
I met a friend from Jamaica for an early lunch. When I arrived before her, I decided to go in. The interior was filled with the smell of cooking food. Very appetizing. I was kindly greeted by an employee and directed to the counter to place my order. Once the staff knew that I would wait until my friend arrived, I was offered a free cup of chicken soup. I assumed. After the soup arrived, I was brought with fresh bread like a bullet (I now know it's a tipping). Both were enjoyed. I've never had Jamaica's food and asked my friend for advice. I landed on Curry chicken with rice and beans and plantains. I know now, I like Jamaican food! My friend said everything was very good, and up to their standards. (A high compliment, in fact) Clean and well organized, inner, tasteful and fragrant, food, attentive and friendly staff made the experience unforgettable. Some upgrades in the dining area would not be sold out. However, it seems above all to be a take-out facility. Well, not a big deal. All in all, a very pleasant experience. I will definitely go back.
Customer services are terrible. The price is not worth the taste of food. You had an employee there where she was that you know what they opened another restaurant on 13 s, I think that the ones they definitely don't go there? Your customer service is terrible and she doesn't know how to talk to someone and the food is not great. .
My friend for a special Sa morning breakfast to introduce her to Jamaican cuisine, and boy not disappoint her! When you opened the door, the scent of fresh cooking welcomed you, only clean fresh seasonal shimmering, then the service was simply fantastic, welcoming, let us feel in the early morning. We went for the famous Jamaican breakfast of Ackee and Salt Fish, with fried Johnny Cakes and steamed bananas, boiled dumplings and Yam (conferences). The food was sooo good, I can't describe how delicious it was, perfectly seasoned, not too spicy, just right, and good portions. She loved it so much, she plans back from Virginia and brings her husband to try it, I thank them so much for the wonderful experience! I will definitely be back!
Good customer service and humiliating people. Looks like your grandmother's gonna make the food. The prices are good and a variety of refreshments in the refrigerator as well. Clean plant.
Food was bland and the oxtails didn?t have much flavor. The cabbage was brick hard and lacked flavor as well. The rice was the best thing but overall average! I wouldn?t revisit.
