Elm does everything very well from the food to drinks to servjce. Great cocktails. Staple menu that has small change ups and weekly specials. Lots of core favorites. Service is top notch. Always welcoming and very responsive. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Elm:
Elms food is solid. I did feel like I was sitting in grand central station as the wait staff walked back and forth by our chairs the entire time we were there. Not sure if other places in the restaurant have less foot traffic but it was really distracting. View all feedback.
First off, the restaurant is very loud. Be prepared to shout across the table, when it is busy. The food was very good, except we did not care for the Black Bass dish. I 'm sure it was a good piece of fish, but it was hard to tell since it was served in a bowl, over rice, which was swimming in a sweet curry sauce. Serve it on a dish with a bit of sauce in the middle of the plate. The warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was incredibly tiny. About 2 bites. The waitress said a table of 4 could share it. But that task is next to impossible. On the bill, i saw a $1.00 charge for ICE I asked the floor manager about it and he said that it was a charge for the remaining liquor left in the jigger and then added to the drink.... REALLY !?!?!? Please....
Service was very slow. Food took a very long time. Food came out sporadically. Some items that were ordered were forgotten. Overall not a great experience. Have eaten here before and been happy so I'm hoping that it was just an off night
On a date night, service was perfect. They kept us taken care of without being obtrusive. Food was special, wine was just right. Be sure to ask for a table near the front where the sight lines are better.
LOVE the food and the fun vibe of this wonderful spot. Love it for dates, dinners with friends, and delicious drinks.
It was so loud we had to move and even then it was deafeningly loud. The service was mediocre. Our waitress was very sweet but just came to the table with a pen and paper to take our order, not explain the menu or ask if we had any questions. When we first ordered our drinks they came out tasting so sweet we had to send them back. The kale salad was way over dressed. The branzino was excellent and we enjoyed the crab pasta.
