The combo meal came with fries and a drink. The fries were excellent and appeared to be house-made. The oil they used made them light and not greasy at all. They were cooked perfectly—not the thin kind you find at McDonald's or the large, flat fries like those at Bill Miller's BBQ. They were just the right size.

I pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Family of 4 package which included 1 1/2 pounds of meat and three sides for a cost of less than $40.00. I ordered the brisket, that could have easily feed six people. The meat was cooked just right and had a great taste. The sides were really good as well. There are other really good barbecue places in New Braunfels and this one is right up there with them but Grandin definitely beats them on price.
The food is absolutely delicious. The service is not warm and friendly. It's nice that they have a drive-thru and a walk-up window. They can serve a lot of people at one time. If I was rating just the food I would be willing to give it 5 stars. You do get the vibe that the cashier is like: what do you want, here you go, next in line. That's sad. We sat outside, I really enjoyed that. I love the decorations. I was told that it's the same family as the old Bakery down the road. They sell some of the items from the bakery. The apple pie was absolutely delicious. The peach cobbler was really good. We will definitely go back. I hope the customer service gets better!
Play golf in New Braunfels this morning. Decided to stop here for a good barbecue sandwich. Hadn't eaten here in a couple of years. This is definitely the place to go in town for barbecue. The place is packed, the drive-thru is crowded, but it's definitely worth the wait. Even though it was crowded by food was delivered fairly quickly and it all tasted good. Today a sausage sandwich mac and cheese and a tea. Everything tasted great. Highly recommend this for barbecue when you're in town or even if you live in the surrounding area and make the trip over. Well worth it
I can't go wrong with her car break. it is fast and efficient, and one has to stop while we are in the city. eating is tasteful and mild. if they have killed their taste buds with seasoned, they might think that it is bland
Good grilling with decent preisen could not ask for more. the staff was friendly and fast. I ordered the braut and it was delicious.
