What Bridget Turk doesn't like about Whit's Frozen Custard:
My friend and I went on Tuesdayafter noon oct 17th . It’s usually so good but that day it was so soft that it was like eating soup! My friend ordered a sundae and the person made a milkshake so I was done with my ice cream before she even got hers wasn’t the best experience. View all feedback.
First time at Whits and I was not disappointed! Delicious and such a cute shop in a great location. I got asked to describe it and said it was like a cross between Orange Leaf and Dairy Queen but with better custard and stand by it. So many fun topping options and their own creations and the custard is perfectly creamy, thick and flavorful. I did their take on a mixed custard with toppings and loved it! Perfectly blended and toppings well distributed throughout so you didn't end on a bunch of plain custard. The sizes are also big the small was about the size of a medium blizzard at DQ for reference. On top of great product, being uptown New Albany, having very easy parking and so close to walking trails is perfect and really makes it all the more enjoyable experience! Will definitely be making a return trip!
The brownie sundae was excellent! I also purchased some butter pecan ice cream and it was delicious.
Whits is always the best! The caramel apple whitster is one of my favorite desserts! The churro.....oh my goodness!! Don't skip on whits it is always worth it!
Ice cream was delicious. I was offered the flavor of the week. The cone was crunchy my only issue was the price and the amount of ice cream came in the cone. I took my first bite of the cone and the ice cream fell inside the cone. I laughed but was still upset. I would have enjoyed the half a scoop a little more if I knew how much was on my cone.
My wife and I dropped by the New Albany location at about 8pm on Saturday. There was two young men working that appeared to not be trained well. Our wait time was over 30mins for a Sunday and a witzer. They first gave my wife an item that was not what she ordered then apparently they ran out of vanilla ice cream (an hour before close) so they took it out of the freezer upfront. My item was handed to me sticking 4 inches above the cup line and dripping all over. I had to scoop that part off only to find you all the cookie dough was at the top leaving me with vanilla icecream. Very disappointed for $15 worth of icecream. Will, how can I contact you directly?
