Awesome place, was worried about how Many pinball machines they had, but the found the Lower Level!! Bring CASH, token machines don't take cards. Love the town also, needed a break from downtown Louisville for a couple hours. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Recbar 812:
Understand longer than usual service but this is ridiculous. We have been waiting for over an hour with at least tables open for over mins. We had people leave and could have reduced our seating amount and they refused. Maybe having more experienced staffing up front could help. View all feedback.
Better than the one in Louisville (and there's nothing wrong with the Louisville location, so that's saying something). The menu is like something written up by drunk/high college students just before spring break, and then tested by their sober culinary arts major friends in the cold light of day (i.e. wacky, but delicious). I recommend the frosted flake tenders! The cocktail menu is sure to have something for everyone's taste, and stocked with a wide rotating beer menu including selections from local breweries. And of course, it IS a proper, old fashioned pinball arcade. The machines are pretty old, of course, but the staff are very good about maintenance I don't think I've ever seen more than two machines out of order in a given night. Good for a day trip with kids, or an evening getaway by yourself.Kid friendliness: As I recall, kids aren't allowed past a certain hour on weekends, but it's well past the bedtime of most children anyway, so it's not a problem. Definitely good for a day trip.
Large beer selection, both tap and bottle/can. Food is superb (get the fried chicken, in whatever form appeals most to you). Tots, tots, and more tots! Imagine comfort food and 3 am inspired snack ideas meets culinary skill. The games are great (retro is dope) but we will even go solely for the food and drink. 2 thumbs up.

I didn 't get any food here since I was only there to visit a cousin who was hosting a birthday party, but I will say it was a neat place! They have two floors of games (a main level and a basement area). There 's also a decent-sized eating area with a full menu. Even though bar is in the title, it 's open to all ages. There are only a couple sections that are closed off for anyone under the age of 21.The environment is geared towards those who enjoy 80 's and 90 's nostalgia with video game artwork on the walls, old movie posters, and signs for Blockbuster and Toys R Us.
Tons of pinball and video plus really great food. They easily accommodated our party of 15 and the waitress was the best ever. Old school games, air hockey, and even a free Nintendo with Mario Brothers on the bottom floor.
