Love the place and the staff. Cheap fast and delicious .. keeping the vertical broiler to cook the meat was challenging (hot in summer) but shaving it fresh off the skewer was wayyyy better than current method of keeping cooked in buffet trays. View all feedback.
What Nancy McCartney doesn't like about Cozmos Souvlaki:
Before Covid, I loved this place. I have moved out of province and am visiting Ottawa. I decided to go back for a delicious gyro and was sadly disappointed. This was NOT shaved meat and had no taste to it at all. The gyros and potatoes were cold. One of my orders included lamb platter which was also tasteless and a very small portion. Honestly, I've been here about 5 times and it's been one of my favourite places to eat.
Really fresh and authentic Greek food! I came here after Boxing Day shopping and tried a gyros wrap, a three meat wrap, and fries (with garlic oil).
How have I lived here for 16 years and only just discovered this place??!! Inexpensive, delicious, fresh and flavourful.
My wife and I have been coming here for the past few years. After many visits, I felt that I should give them a nice review. The staff is very friendly and everything gets made relatively quickly, even if it's really busy. I love that the menu is very straight forward and that the food is always great. If I'm not mistaken, recently they updated their chicken souvlaki recipe/size and it is even better than before! Everything I ordered from here has always been good and the portion size is great. I will definitely keep coming back here whenever I'm in the area!
This place is super close to my house and is so freaking good. Hands down the best inexpensive meal in Ottawa!
