We had a lovely midweek family lunch, the staff are excellent and made us feel very welcome, they checked our Covid certs in the hallway before we entered the restaurant, they brought us to a lovely table and were more than helpful with the menu and choices available. The food is delicious and my sister and I opted for Lasagne with side salad and chips while my dad had a delicious ham carvery lunch. Really good food... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Round O:
went ere last Sunday and the food was not that good we waited atleast an our for our main courses.They also let a man in using a ripped apart tissue as a mask while he was on top of people eating and along with that we where in-hailing smoke from a ciggerette wouldn't go back soon. Great place for a pint,.if your up that end of town
The fried Brie thing was pretty good. Burger fantastic could do without the lettuce/veg in it though. Fish and Chips weren't great.
Lovely food, really good value but absolutely shocking service. Had to ask twice for menus then again for someone to take drink orders. Interior designer should be sacked. Beautiful day out, and all curtains closed, really dark and dreary , could easily have been a November winter evening instead of a May summers day!Had to ask twice for more pepper sauce , by which time my steak was cold . Only consolation was my very full belly leaving but not very nice surroundings.
