Very happy to have some ethnic food in town. My third visit was not as good as the first two. On my arrival I was told they were made of rice. You can't have meat without rice and peas. I said I'd wait. You took my order?sides and all?...you get two pages with your meal. Good home and without sides. Don't look good. Must it go better? will be successful! View all feedback.

The food is fantastic! Some are family recipes! I ordered oxtails, white rice, yams, Mac and cheese, as well as both, jerk and domestic wings as an appetizer. Great!
Two days in a row because it was so good! The curry and the chicken, spicy, but incredible. Mac and cheese homemade and delicious. But the ribs were absolutely the best. Add to taste, and portion size of phenomenal service and you have a winner for a restaurant. Support them to stay here for a long time. I can't wait to go back and try the wings.
Vintage Caribbean can be the best Jamaican restaurant in CT. I first tried with rice and beans, cabbage, Mac and cheese. It was so good that I had to send my wife there the next day. The chicken there is somewhere else. It tastes fresh from the grill with a spicy but tasteful backpack sauce that make it in the house. All right. The Pattys?! Well, get them in time to get a curry chicken patty. Every time I ask if they're left, no. For anyone who first visited, definitely take one of these curry chicken couples. All in all, I tried the oxtail, Ruck Chicken, Curry Chicken, Stew Chicken, Stew Beef, all her fats, all his good. My favorite though, the Ruck Chicken, Rice and Beans, Cabbage, Mac and Cheese, with a spicy beef patty (I usually think there when all curry chicken patties are gone).
Amazed at the priced OX tail here compared to others places. I went around CT for oxtail and they don’t have the fatty kind here. It’s good quality! The beef patties are good too it’s real crust not that fake stuff , also had the curry chicken ! I would come back here worth the drive. Nice clean environment!
Very impressed as first timers! It was around 4pm when we went in, and we weren’t too sure how long the food at the counter had been out............ but we went for it anyway, and it was piping hot! The candied yams were to die for! I’ve never tasted anything quite like them wow. The kind gentleman behind the counter also made us from scratch a jerk burger and pineapple chicken both were excellent and the jerk incredibly authentic (no “white American” flavors here this is the real deal! . Prices were fantastic too. Seems they’ve only been in business about 6 months. So fab to have something like this in the area. We’ll definitely be back.
