What User doesn't like about Roze Pony:
eating is consistently nice, but after the service today I will not return. our server was best not attentive at the beginning of our meal and the worst - extremely rude at the end. we asked a simple question that she refused to fulfill and then to Slam elements on the table. it was an unpleasant experience of being ending, and I felt like an inconvenient rather than a paying hospitable. This restaurant is amazing! As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in an indie movie. The music was great, the decor was super cute, and our server, Katie, provided exceptional service. She checked on us just the right amount, never being too intrusive but always making sure we had everything we needed. We started with the steak sandwich because we were really hungry and knew the blueberry soufflé pancakes would take a while. The sandwich was delicious and came out quickly, along with a fresh salad. And then came the soufflé pancakes - they were absolutely heavenly! The check even came with a cute postcard, showing that this restaurant goes above and beyond in terms of service. Roze Pony is a hidden gem and has quickly become one of my favorite spots!
We had a great time at brunch! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the espresso martinis and **** Mary's - all delicious. The butternut squash soup was fantastic and paired perfectly with the beautiful chicken salad tartine. And don't even get me started on the fluffy pancakes - pure heaven! We'll definitely be back soon!
The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. The bartender/server was also fantastic, managing a busy crowd with impressive efficiency. The bacon in my meal was exceptional, I'm not sure where they source it from but it really elevated the dish. The vibe of the restaurant was awesome, and the high-quality food has me looking forward to returning in the future.
Another disappointment! Our recent visit to Rusty Pony has led us to completely remove it from our list of favorite restaurants. The hostess was less than pleasant, showing no enthusiasm when we asked her to fix our wobbly table. As she walked through the room, it was clear she would rather be anywhere else. She had a model-like appearance, tall and slender, prompting my partner to wonder why someone who looks like that can't even crack a smile. The food was not up to par either - the mussels were mediocre and the portions were smaller than expected for the price of $21. The side accompaniments were minuscule and looked like they came from the bottom of the barrel. The pasta dishes lacked the flavors we had enjoyed on previous visits, with the spicy malfadini being overly heavy and exaggerated. When we asked about dessert options, we were only presented with a card listing 3 choices. It wasn't until our server returned that we discovered there were over 5 additional options displayed near the side wall. Why this information was not initially shared remains a mystery to us. Feeling unsatisfied with our experience, we decided to skip dessert and leave. This lack of attention to customer service is the main reason we will not be returning. If the restaurant doesn't prioritize the customer experience, we will take our business elsewhere.
The bar program is exceptional. Absolutely amazing! The food is also superb, and the interior and atmosphere are beautiful. Ideal for a date night or brunch with friends. Don't hesitate, hurry and check it out!
