The food was good. It was more about what I ordered.It had a sweet cornbread base that I didn't like.My server was very nice and the rest of the meal was good.

If you are looking for a retro diner with checkered floors and waitresses who call you “baby”, then this the place! On a Sunday, I didn’t have to wait long for a table for two and once we ordered the food came out hot and fast. The Texas shaped waffles are such a classic, I loved it. The scrambled eggs were okay, the bacon was crispy, but the hash browns (not pictured) were not crispy, and that’s okay! Still a good classic breakfast, I can’t complain.

I had the Cajum omelet and French toast, and it was wonderful. I'll definitely be back.

Normally this place is good but today was pure awful from the beginning! Walked in and got told there was a 10-15 minute wait waited 30 minutes. Finally got sat and our waitress was just rude from the beginning. We ordered drinks and she threw the straws down. Then we ordered food and I changed my mind and she got mad that I wanted something different. After about 20 minutes of waiting we noticed that people that had gotten here after us were already eating. We asked our waitress and she said it’s because we ordered a waffle and there was a backup on them in the kitchen. She lied to our face because we waited almost another 20 minutes for our food to come out after we were lied to because we know she forgot to put in our order. Once the food came out orders were wrong and toast was burnt we obviously said something. After I said that’s not what I ordered she was like well I have it written down and I said no as the people I was with said I ordered something different. There was also cross contamination and our eggs were runny. Will not be coming back anytime soon so please beware!
