The clam chowder needs some serious seasoning but the fish and chips are the best! A bit skimpy on the chocolate tort? Less than a childs portion. Rather pricey too for serving. Ordered extra ranch received more tartar sauce. View all feedback.
What Jessica S doesn't like about Downtown Joes Brewery And (main St):
I attribute this to the fact it was delivered- by the time it got to me maybe 10 minutes after it was picked up, the fish was so soggy it was mush and falling apart. The chicken wings were alright. Tasted like they were drenched in Franks Red Hot. View all feedback.
Great location near the river and Veterans Park with outdoor, covered, patio sitting. A great laid back setting for a beautiful, care free, night out. Service was great! Our waitress, Morgan, was attentive and friendly, as well as everyone else we spoke with at the restaurant. The food menu looked great with a good selection of bar-type food, but what we chose was not what we hoped for. The Brisket Sliders were made of chopped tiny tiny bit size brisket, dry bread and a tiny serving of slaw with a drop of BBQ sauce. I never had brisket served this way and thought they should have just brought toothpicks to eat the tiny pieces with. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the meat. I highly recommend they shy away from serving brisket this way! I heard they do the same with the pastrami in the Reuben sandwich. What? : The shredded pork sandwich was good and with a good portion of meat. Our meals lso came with beer fries which was great and what saved our night. We will certainly give them another shot for the service and location and hopefully, next time, they will have made adjustments to how they serve brisket.
At here while on vacation. We had a great server and the manager stopped by to check on us, we asked for her opinion on some wineries and places to eat. She spent some time talking to us. Great recommendations. We wanted to get back there for their happy hour and half price bottles and just didn’t have time. Highly recommend. Fish and chips were awesome!
I had a great time here! Great happy hour offers. We had the Brezel bites and Mediterranean salad that were delicious! But the garlic fries took the cake! Beer was delicious and the wine was good! Alfonso was so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back! Beautiful outdoor seats with views of the river.
I am Bias...give me good beer (in this case brewed in the Restaraunt Joes IPA! and good food and I usually give a good review. But these guys took it one step further and provided excellent service as well as excellent smoked meat and good sauce! Had a Greek salad (get it with Tri-Tip with arugala, feta and just enough capers and brisket sliders...yum! had to sit out for the first time because it first codified, beautiful view of the Napa river. came back another time and sat in the realization that they make some breasts there! We have it with good coffee that was strong and not like regular diner style. Lil John gave some reviews delivered! Beautiful jewel in this pricy area...
Great place to eat with river views, great service and relaxed atmosphere. came here for dinner before a show. Many free parking nearby. Had choice of bar seating, outside seats or dining room. The staff was very helpful and prompt. Had our drinks orders and appetizers fast and we let down. The Nachos and Brezelbälle were amazing. We order more Brezeln. Had a beautiful glass Carneros Pinot Noir, her own Ale, virgin Mojitos and coke. Mains were Bison Burger, who was perfectly cooked, medium rare. I should have asked for onions because it was not included. The sweet potato fries were a hit. Others ordered the Brisket Chili, very savory and fleshy. Quesadilla level and chicken. We have closed with coffee, peach and brownies, both ala mode. The Brownies were the best of the two. We really enjoyed watching the river and bridge and the bicycle bridge. Very pleasant early dinner.
