Real Food is great and fast. All four soups on offer were tasted and passed with flying colours, but Creamy Dreamy Tomato won. Nanaimo Cake, based on the famous Nanaimo Bar is absolute heaven. Friendly staff, delicious coffee. View all feedback.

I have eaten here a couple of times and eaten their catered lunches at work. I find the food bland and not all that special. The place is clean and bright, its in a good shopping area. View all feedback.
Our family was visiting from Chilliwack, and arrived off the ferry at lunch time. I’m so glad we came here! All of our sandwiches were delicious, as were the soups, and I am an excellent home cook. Definitely “real food”! The bathrooms were clean, too.
Great CAKE and delicious coffee. Many places have less than satisfying drip coffee but I drank my whole cup. Had to rein myself in from having more.The CAKE !!! is heaven. I'd rather have one piece here than a whole grocery cake.She makes it worth every calorie and nickel. Wanted to lick the plate. <3
The Tuscan Burger was great and the Black Chocolate cake was decadent. Great coffee too
We stopped here for lunch in the Old Quarter because it looked like a lunchtime kind of restaurant. We both had the Potatoe and Leek Soup and I had a Caramelized Onion Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The soup was very tasty and pretty hearty. The Grilled Cheese was great. The onions were nicely sweet and you could taste a hint of grainy mustard in the sandwich. Very good! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely outstanding! The Tuscan chicken soup, decadent tomato bisque, lox bagel, carrot cake, and peanut butter chocolate cake were all incredible. This place is a must-visit whenever we're in the vicinity of Nanaimo!
