I was on a work trip popped in for lunch. The service was good the lemon grass chicken with vermicelli noodles tasted great. It was a decent portion , I couldn’t finish it all. Definitely recommend it. View all feedback.
What Justin L doesn't like about Pho Boi A Taste of Vietnam:
It 's sad to see a beloved, high quality resturant with class a service change hands and nose dive so badly. It 's stated with the server giving us nothing but attitude while we were ordering. Then, after asking for water twice, to no avail. We just gave up. The bone broth had no flavour and the five little pieces of meat in my $18 bowl of pho just topped it. Will never return! There are lots of places to eat in this region but if you are looking for great pho and Vietnamese in an unpretentious setting this is a good bet.
First off, not a very decadent restaurant. The surroundings are simple but useful. The food arrived in quick order and was as ordered. A very nice dinner and quite a lot of food surprisingly. I will be back. Only caveat to the meal. When you're at the till to pay there is a sign posted saying a 10% surcharge will apply to your order in an effort to combat raising prices. This they claim is due to the increase in delivery costs from their suppliers. FWIW....
We ordered the summer rolls which consisted of a lot of vermicelli and a very small amount of salad, a few shrimp, and a small round slice of processed beige pork meat. I didn't like the peanut sauce it came with. First peanut sauce I've ever tried that I didn't like. The processed pork made me gag. These rolls went in the garbage. The chicken dishes had slivers of bone in them. Difficult and dangerous to eat. My first and last visit to this place. What a waste of money. I have no affiliation with any restaurant. Just a customer.
The food was so disappointing, the meat was overcooked and dry, the vegetables also dry like they were sitting out. Cook at home, this was definitely not worth my hard earned money.
