We dined here with our family yesterday and we were not disappointed. The staff was incredibly attentive and the restaurant itself is beautiful. We booked a table as we were going to nerby NT Tyntsfield to the Ignite event. The menu is simple but varied and there's a specials board. Some of our party have special dietary needs and there are gluten free and vegan options. The young staff were attentive and very helpful. We enjoyed our meal and hope to be back to enjoy the beer garden.
Presumably for historic reasons, this rather nice place is approached by driving down a housing estate access road. It's worth perservering. For lunch, we both had the same excellent beef bourgignon pie. A full plate of well cooked food which neither could finish so desserts were passed up. We'll be back!
