Plantation House Of Pancakes

Imagine if you will a dinner that was established in 1973. Never spending a dime on upkeep or modern seating floors ceilings etc. Food was okayservice was okay. It reminds me of a up north Greek dinner. Except the Greeks have pride of ownership. No pride here. I understand why bother they will only see me once. It is a tourist town with a thousand other fish to fry.

The owner of this establishment is an absolute j Rude, dismissive, unfriendly, pure trash!1. The owner would not allow the hostess to sit our party b/c (2) were next door at the candy shop.2. The food is poor quality. Absolutely terrible!! The omelette was slimy, pancakes were dry, and grits were bland.3. My husband and I ordered the same meal with different sides so we could share. I ate half of the pancake he shared with me and a small bite of my omelet grits. Too terrible to even try to eat. I regret not taking pictures of the food because this explanation does not do the justice I need it to! TERRIBLE!4. The owner would not take one meal off our bill because he said we ate some of our food.5. The table next to us had an issue with shells in their eggs. The owner came to the table and put his hands in the eggs to feel for shells!!! And after mushing his hands in the eggs told the party ‘there’s no shells in these eggs’.I will NEVER be back!!!!

Excellent Pancake House. Super friendly staff,clean, and some of the best pancakes I ever had. My wife had biscuits and gravy and she also loved them. We was there shortly after they opened,so the pictures inside the restaurant doesn’t reflect on how busy they get, as we were leaving people was pouring in. The only reason I left four stars for atmosphere was it was freezing in there. Don’t miss out on this great restaurant!

Carrie took such great care of my 2 sisters and me. We came on our annual beach trip and ate here for the first time and it was amazing. Biscuits and gravy were DELICIOUS! As were the pancakes- one of my sisters didn’t even use syrup bc they were so good. As were the omelets and the cheesy grits. Oh and the coffee!!! Best breakfast place I’ve been to anywhere around in years! Wish we could have taken Ms Carrie home with us due to her calm kind demeanor.

This is an excellent place to eat if you enjoy ham egg type dishes, as well as pancakes and waffels of course. The restaurant is tidy and the service was prompt. The food was very good (best eggs I've had in at least a week). The service was average.Food: 5/5
