Local on the Water - Myrtle Beach

MAKE A RESERVATION! We moved up 12 minutes early and sat on time, despite the line to the parking lot! Alexandria worked with ZERO complaints. They were subject to leave, but the service and the live entertainment made for it The music was great and our server was always pleasant, despite how busy it was. We started with the shrimps, corn and grits. came with 6 and they were too good! I had the crab cake. Best crab cake I've had for a long time. Packed with crab meat. Ask for extra sauce. They were huge! The sweet potato fries were also lovely. We dived into honey mustard. My wife had the pear salad and grilled chicken. She's not a salad fan, she's still talking about the salad this morning. No desserts was a summer, but we recommend everything we ordered.

Love this place! It is open with plenty of space and the food was on the point.

The food was very good. Happy Hour lacked Happy Hour price for food, but they have some beer drink specials. Not a great view, but better than looking at your backyard, but it was quite hot on that day so we have to go back and give him a second look.

This restaurant is PERFECT! On the water I grew up when this place was Dock Holidays. The service is impeccable, the food is delicious, and the aura when you go is amazing. Very recommended!

My wife and I went here on a date night and despite living in the area for over 20 years, neither of us had ever been. We were blown away by the whole experience! The food was awesome, the atmosphere was awesome, the location is awesome! We highly recommend going here! Apparently, there’s new management leading the restaurant and if our experience was any indication of it, Local on the Water is in good hands! Our server, Michele, did an awesome job and was a phenomenal waitress! We’ll definitely go back at some point!
