I can't say enough good about this place! It's by far the best greasy spoon I've ever had in a long time and one of the best! The cook has been working here since 1974. It just broke my head. He's also SUPER nice. I heard one of the waiters and waiters and said that she had been there for 17 years and that the owners were a big family to work. Says a lot in my book. We really wanted to try this place. After reading reviews we felt we were prepared for a rundown older cafe but good food. The decrepit motel next door has been closed and condemned. Walking in, there was a thick fog of grease in the air. Made us cough and we left. I understand tightened belts but if you're going to stay open, need to spend some money on building and equipment (ventilation) maintenance. View all feedback.

Posting a bad review about Muskogee Shawnee Restaurant! ? ???????????????????????????????????????I went and had breakfast with a friend yesterday on September 1st: when it was time to pay, the waitress swiped my card and stated it did not go through and she swiped it a second time and stated it did not go through!I then had my friend pay for my breakfast.I wake this morning to see that I was charged twice for my meal which means I paid 3 times for the same meal! When I speak to owner, I have the proof that payments went through but I was still denied my refund!Now if I couldn’t pay I would not have been able to leave the restaurant! However when it’s on the business side these MF will play hell and high waters to give you your money back! I will NOT GO BACK… that was 36.00 for a 12.43 meal!I’m so INFURIATED!!!!!!
