Unbelievable! Parking is strange. If you don't park in the game in front of the restaurant, it's $5, but you get it back when you pay your bill. So if you have several cars in your party, but be careful, you pay for parking when it is next to the building. The waitress was incredibly nice and fast. The interior was very nice. What Barrett doesn't like about Wahoos Fish House:
We dined here over the Labor Day weekend. We were looking for a restaurant serving fresh local fish. The fresh catch offering said market price. We asked the waitress what the market price of the day was. We were told $30 for snapper, $30 swordfish, $36 for grouper. We were also told we get a choice of two sides. We went ahead and ordered two fish meals at the $30 price level and two sides each. When the bill came, o... View all feedback.

This place was amazing! We went on a Friday at 6:00 and we sat immediately and welcomed by our amazing server, Mark. He was absolutely fabulous! And a great seller! We order the annoyed grouper with the Garabaldi topping (which can be wrong spelling lol), the Buffalo shrimps, and the chefs special was swordfish. Talk about delicious! I must say it will be difficult to find everywhere to eat that even comes close to this experience. Thank you for being great!
We wanted to be here for a while and finally get some fresh fish. Tested as Wicked Tuna has become unreasonably expensive and now has no value. Wahoo is similarly expensive, but the food is somewhat more adventurous and the portions are larger. Red Snapper Special was fantastic. Taste was on site and excellent. Server very knowledgeable and polite. Cocktails on the strange side. We had a great experience and will come back. Advice for the owners of the equipment in the dining room does not match the price category of the restaurant. Maybe update something. Otherwise, this is now our best choice for fresh fish in Murrells Inlet, before Wicked Tuna.
Absolutely incredible food! We found this place that just checked the area, and it was a great experience. The shrimps and grits are like the grandma that was made earlier. The view is beautiful, along the Marsh Walk. There was live music while we were there, and he was pretty good. So even a favor and a plate full, you will love it.
We ended up at Wahoo?s by happenstance because the restaurant next door had too long of a wait to manage with our 2 year old. We are glad we ended up here! We were seated in 10 mins and they brought fresh hush puppies as soon as we sat down?as a mom with a young kiddo this was much appreciated! We were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of the food but we highly recommend the crab dip, my husband enjoyed his shrimp and grits, my friend enjoyed her fried flounder and I enjoyed my fried platter of flounder, shrimp, deviled crab, and oysters. The portions of the fried flounder were HUGE. I anticipated a small piece with my meal since I had other items but both the portions for myself and my friend were roughly the size of a whole fish! The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, especially the lanterns or whatever the sea creatures were. We will definitely be visiting again!
