A Murcia classic for Murcia classic tapas like the marinera consisting of a ensaladilla rusa (potato salad with carrots, peas, mayo and shrimp) on a roscilla (long oval breadstick) and with a salted anchovie fillet on top. It’d be a marinero if the anchovie is replaced by a sardine. Spacious outdoor seating on a large pedestrian square. Our local friends ordered and paid so we can’t confirm other reviewers’ suspicion... View all feedback.
What Anita S doesn't like about Cafe Gran Via:
We chose this bar as it was really busy. We ordered two canas and a Sprite. Every single table had tapas except us. Perhaps everyone else had ordered them? When we asked for the bill we were told 6 euros which seemed extortionate so we asked for the ticket which showed 3 beers and 1 sprite!!! We were refunded our 1 and a half euros for the phantom beer but were not happy with the service. View all feedback.
Today we have been six murcian friends, taking some sailors, some berbets, hueva with almonds and some canes, served by jesús. very good service, very good quality, and an enviable environment and temperature.
High quality Cappuccino for a very fair price. Happy staff nice atmosphere. Next to a main road so noisy hustle and bustle. Can drink and eat inside too.
Cafe bar gran vin is well located on a major Walking street. The service is not bad considering there are only two waiting staff that we could see. Enjoyable.

This place isn't classy but boy oh boy do they have amazing tapas. The Ensaladilla Rusa (which is a type of potato salad) is delicious. The best one I have ever had and I had many in my lifetime. Totally worth checking out while walking through Murcia. Next to Plaza del Romea it has a lovely outdoor seating area for you and friends to have a Clara (refreshing mix of beer and lemonade) and have a tapa of Ensaladilla. Totally worth it! Don't miss it!
