read moreLa Maripili, a Spanish restaurant in Alabang, is known for its churros but also offers sandwiches and ice cream. The wooden restaurant boasts a warm and spacious interior, making it a nice spot to enjoy churros while watching the sunset. The churros are not oily and are best paired with their dark chocolate dip. Customers appreciate the authenticity of the dark chocolate dip, though some find the sandwiches to be nothing out of the ordinary. The Roasted Pomodoro Pasta was deemed average and overpriced for its portion size. The Apfelstrudel Crepes had too much crepe and lacked filling. While the food has its highs and lows, the ambiance of La Maripili is Instagram-friendly, but the ventilation may leave something to be desired. Overall, La Maripili shows promise but could improve on various aspects to reach its full potential.
