this is already a duty for the whole family at certain occasions. the fish is excellent! I would give an automatic 5-star rating if the portions were larger and the prices were somewhat lower. Do not forget that we are in the mouth and this is a restaurant with locals. absolutely recommended. View all feedback.
What Enrico Sipes doesn't like about Papazofs:
We were a group of that visited this restaurant that is hidden in the wholesale market outlet in Munich. The owner is a prominent and well known importer of fish to this city. The waiter recommended three different fish for us and brought forth them...to be inspected by us and for our consent. They all looked great but when they were served to us,cut in pieces and fried( We were expecting them to be served grilled of... View all feedback.
The papazofs has developed from a fishing business. they rarely get better, fresher fish than here behind the house in the slaughterhouse. already the appetizers are excellent. for example the absolutely fresh thun fish as carpaccio, which comes as a neat disc and not thin. or the wonderfully soft otopus from the grill that needs nothing but to inspire some olive oil. or the fantastic baked rotbarbs that can be eaten crispy and yet juicy throughout. continue with the main courts. Once they have eaten the seafoods here, they will not be happy with the dry mull in other places. large and juicy here the fish lands on the teller, accompanied by either salat or vegetables. that is also the choice of all other fish dishes. because you don't come here either. a dream, though not cheap, but the price worth that, are the wild catch gambas. taste intense and juicy super. for desserts no more space. to drink there are excellent Greek wines. an amethystos shows, for example, that Greece has much more to offer than retsina. as digestion there are metaxa unforeseen age if they want, or tsipouro. the waiter is happy when they order it. the service is casual, but in the regular attention. the environment is especially on the outside. in the former viehhof they sit in an environment where they think that the bands of the new york come around the corner. in the interior of the papazof is simple, cool, modern. no design highlight, but it does not fall the eyes as in another filled place.
Papazofs has developed from a fishing business. You know that. Only rarely will you get better, fresh fish in Munich than here behind the inn in the slaughterhouse. The appetizers are excellent. For example, the absolutely fresh tuna as Carpaccio, which comes as a neat slice and not very thin. Or the wonderfully soft octopus from the grill that needs nothing but to inspire some olive oil. Or the fantastically baked red beds that can be eaten crispy and yet juicy throughout. Continue with the main courts. Once you have eaten the seaweed here, you will not be happy with the dry debris in other places. Large and juicy here the fish lands on the plate, accompanied by either salad or vegetables. This is also the selection of supplements for all other fish dishes. Because you're not here either. A dream, not cheap, but worth the price, are the wildcatchers Gambas. Try intensively and juicy super. There was no room for desserts. There are excellent Greek wines to drink. For example, an Amethystos shows that Greece has much more to offer than Retsina. As digestion, there is Metaxa unmarried age if you want, or Tsipouro. The waiters are happy if you... The service is casual, but usually attentive. The ambience is especially outside. In the former cattle farm you sit in an environment where you think the gangs of New York are just around the corner. I like it. Inside, Papazof is simple, cool, modern. No design highlight, but it also does not drizzle the eyes, as in some other dressed local.
This place is dope! I went there on a Friday night without reservations. I don't recommend that. They were completely booked but managed to seat me near the..
Wonderful lunch. Freshest grilled fish, best in Munich. Great service. The mixed appetizer plate included dolomades, taramasalata, olives, artichokes and..
This restaurant is located in an area called Schlachthof where there are wine cellars, en gros sales and butchers. The owner runs his own fish business. We were seated outside on the parking lot which doesn't sound that great but don't be fooled, it is...great. Quiet and with the very special atmosphere of the area. Very good service. The lady who served us knew her products and her wines. As to the food... We ordered the mixed fish platter and fresh, wild catch loup de mer for was good but definitely overpriced. We spent Euros for starter dish, wine and with the food being okay but not worth the final bill. As to the baklava.. they were soggy and not worth ordering. All in all we were rather disappointed
