Yummy Grill And Buffet - Muncie

I have come here twice in the last 2 weeks. Both times the food was mediocre to bad. Even their fresh fruit had a bad taste to it. I looked at their sushi this time, didn’t seem appetizing. I did their hibachi grill this time, meet was over cooked and couldn’t cut into to make bite size. The wonton soup brother was way too salty, their other main course dishes were poor it okay. NOT worth the money. The serving staff: 1st time, the waitress decided to sit at a table across from me so that she could chat with her friends about work and such (within earshot of other customers. This time, the waitress barely came by to pick up 1 round of dishes (only doing so when I needed a drink refill). I do NOT tips servers at buffets Bc they are NOT taking orders or even delivering food. They are just being refills (when they choose to come by) and bus tables (glorified bussers). I feel that restaurants like these should NOT be aloud to call them servers in order to avoid paying a livable wage or requiring the general public make up the difference. I will NOT be returning to this restaurant since I have confirmed it isn’t a one off day situation.Update-I tried this place one more time (3rd time is a charm idea). This time I told the cashier my thoughts (barely had 1.5 plates worth of food because of how terrible the food was…taking only 1-3 SMALL pieces of a few items to “try), but Bc I “ate from the buffet” they still charged me just under $11 for their lunch buffet with NO drink. Avoid this place.

It's about as good as it gets in the world of Chinese buffets. Large selection, busy enough to warrant having fresh food, and a fair lunch price. Would definitely go again.Food: 5/5

Food swimming in grease, cold, just nasty. Big variety. Canned green beans..should be fresh. Sushi was not good either.Food: 2/5

I was in Muncie on business as I travel a lot. Muncie may have the worst choice for restaurants of any city I've ever been to. I came to Yummy thinking how bad can a buffet be but I sure found out. Without question the worst Chinese buffet I have ever been to. I was afraid to even sample some of the dishes and you know when your buffet is bad when your second plate is a selection of fruit. But on the plus side, they have the best looking waitresses of any Chinese buffet I have ever been to.
