Family birthday. at table. Covid certs recorded, hands sanitised and face coverings on till seated. Huge selection on menu. Though busy there was no delay in getting orders to table. Absolutely beautiful. Staff are super efficient and friendly too. Some took doggie bags home. Cost was good value. View all feedback.

previously the best chineses in Mullingar, but last time went down. curry willow is like cement. hopefully they come back to higher standards. (translated by google) used to be the best Chinese in mulling but it has gone downhill in recent times. The curry sauce is like the zemento. Let's hope they return to higher standards. Have been getting takeaway from here for a long time. Has recently got a new owner and my god the food has gone down, it is actually inedible, the special fried rice tastes awful, used to have lovely fresh prawns and now chewy tasteless prawns. The salt and chilli chicken which used to be really tasty is bland and stringy chicken. I'm so disappointed as this was my favourite chinese restaurant in mullingar both for takeaway and eat in. Will not be wasting my money again.
Poor food, too expensive, drab outdated decor. Dark dreary atmosphere. Badley needs a revamp. We had the set menu at €31 each. We declined the dessert and coffee after such a poor starter and main. No reduction offerred and had to pay full price. Ribs for starter were just warm. Prawn dish for main was in a thick gelatine-type sauce, not very nice.
My szechuan sauce tasted like they put soya sauce, chilli and pepper in a bowl and mixed it.. chicken chow mein came with no sauce. First and last time there.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The barbecue spare ribs were unevenly heated, with the top two being hot and the rest cold. The beef curry and fried rice were inedible - the rice was hard and brittle, and the curry sauce was unlike anything I had ever seen before. The partner's chicken chow mein was dried up and tasteless. Overall, a terrible dining experience.
This restaurant used to be popular, but it has clearly declined over the years. The decor is still nice, but that's about the only good thing about it. The service was okay, but the restaurant was empty so there was no pressure on the staff. The food was terrible, with gloopy sauces that looked disgusting. The meat was clearly low quality, and the prices were too high for the poor quality of the food. They didn't seem to care about our experience, so I won't be returning.
