small restaurant (about 18 tables.) service was excellent and the prices reasonable. pizzas and pastas are about $10-12. other dishes are more expensive. I ordered a carpathian and it was delicious. I am zöliakie and I dreamed with a gluten-free pizza. Unfortunately, their pizzas are not gluten-free, but they have gluten-free pasta that was really good. a beautiful experience. View all feedback.
What Dorothea Beier doesn't like about Piazetta:
We arrived yesterday at 17.30 and sat down at a table for 4, there were only 2 tables taken from around 20 tables. The waitress asked us if we could sit somewhere else as they had reservations for 19.30 ! . There were no tables for...2 available, the waitress had a discussion with her colluege leaving us standing there somewhat baffled, after 3 minutes we decided to move on. We live local in Munchen, this was a first... View all feedback.
We arrived at 17.30 a.m. yesterday and sat down on a table for 4 people, there were only 2 tables occupied by about 20 tables. the waitress asked us if we could sit elsewhere, as they had reservations for 19.30 clock (!). there were no tables available for 2, the waitress had a discussion with her colleague and left us a bit amazed. after 3 minutes we decided to move on. we live in little dudes, this was a premiere for us. we have visited this restaurant many times in winter (for 3 years), yes, the food is good and we always had a good service, but this experience means that this restaurant is on our list.
Even the crust of the pizza was exceptional! let them be surprised to find a real pizzeria in Germany:-) great for couples and families! ! the cost was very affordable ... very helpful considering the prices for food and Europe as a whole.
I have recommended this hotel by a friend and it was really worth a visit. great eating and they were flexible on our changes (own choice of the pad on the pizza). the vitello tonnato, which I usually take as a measure for the quality of the cook, was above average, but the tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles was one of the best I have ever eaten. a table reservation is a must if they do not take any risk.
I have reserved a table by e-mail and was glad that I did this because the restaurant was full when we arrived at 20 o'clock and many people stood around the small bar area and waited for the tables to be cleared. the waiters were very friendly (and spoke English) with typical Italian getous. the service was a little slow, but still friendly. one of our fellow travelers decided for the pasta with truffles and artichokes and this was a little fad, but eating all the others (including garnel, fish and noodle dishes) was very tasty and was flushed down with a decent Sicilian red wine, which provided a nice evening meal.
Considered an excellent lunch, which was attracted by the menu of the day written on the table outside. on the place where the local Christmas market was established. really good fast service and also reasonable. we went back on Friday night and had the luck getting a table. delicious main dishes and neat red wine. I booked on the last day of the visit on the busy Saturday evening again for dinner and we ate again well among Italian families who ate there.
