What Mortimer Kulas doesn't like about Osteria Mugolone:
Zur Auswahl gibt es ca. 10 Speisen. Alles ist relativ teuer. Das Essen wurde schnell gebracht und schmeckte gut, aber nicht mehr. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Jedoch hatten wir alle nach dem Essen immer noch nicht genug. View all feedback.
What a cosy place in the heart of Munich, super friendly staff. Small but well balanced menu. The fresh and homemade food is simply awesome!!!A must for everyone who likes to enjoy italian food.
The hosts hand pick ingredients from the best Italian suppliers and cook all their dishes to perfection. IT REALLY IS THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD we've eaten in Munich. The wine is extensive and researched. Decor is relaxed and at the moment they have a Porsche...Photographer touring Tuscany exhibiting classy and beautiful. Prices are good but this place punches way above its weight. Please don't tell your friends i want this gem for myself
Us two stopped by after reading the great reviews here on TripAdvisor. Even though people recommended to make a reservation, we decided to test our luck. And, it was worth it. We came in there was a last free table for two. Great! There...were different women serving us and were both extremely friendly. The food was super delicious and waited very short to be served. This is a very special place and definitely recommending it to all italian-food-lovers with a bit of an extra spark! Will definitely come again! Bravo!!!
Would you like a side order of salt with your meal? No, no. It's salty enough, so salty I require several bottles of fizzy water to finish the mound of salt disguised as spaghetti with beef ragout on my dish. And trading my dish with...my friends will not solve the problem, because even if there are only seven or eight tartuffi-trufflufi tortellini on the plate, that in no way suggests he needs a side order of salt, either. No. His dish also justifies ordering several bottles of fizzy water. The bread could have used some salt, though.
The place is very nice and the food as well. However the name of the place is more famous than the food it serves. Also according to me and most of my friends the place is too expensive for the dishes they offer. I think...around for ravioli is well too much even if they are the most delicious in the world and they are not, first, and second the restaurant doesn't claim to be a star one. So shortly summarized if you want to enjoy a nice atmosphere and good Italian food the Osteria is for sure not a bad choice. However you must be also prepared to have an Italian type of dinner with first, second and main, or go home and need to get some more food there as well: And it won't be cheap, at all!
