A beautiful, traditional guest house overlooking the opera, very spacious (2 floors plus small beer garden) and fantastic food. Great to go with the family food! Also suitable for a lively lunch with business partners. Recommendation: Go to the asparagus season here for dinner. Very delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Spatenhaus An Der Oper:
we were there last Wednesday to 11 people, had already reserved longer to wish the table decoration left, will not be taken out of the house. because you have to wait for food, which is normal, I would also find it rich with bread and slim, butter, quark or the like. That's not a conversation. Service is neutral to unfriendly, edible. M.E. too expensive for the service the local offers. only the beautiful rooms do no... View all feedback.
We were on the ground on Saturday of the year. the environment is very appealing and clean and cozy. the services were friendly. I had roasted the Lower Bavarian Spanish. two huge pieces of meat with a semmel and a potato domple with crimped. the half of the meat and more quality would have done well to eat. that's why the half went back. I'm sorry. due to the significantly higher price (28,90€!) I expected much more. that didn't happen. only 3 stars. I also find it inappropriate to buy 2.50€ per person for 's covered (incl. 1 small pulp and cream with butter, fresh cheese and narrow. we are not masters.
Normally we avoid the shops of the Münchner Gastronomy-Grandkopferten and all of them belong to the Kufflers, who feel like half Munich. After a concert visit to the residence, however, the Palatinate Weinstube, which we wanted to make a visit after thirteen years, was flooded by pensioners, concert visitors and others. This subsequent happy circumstance then led us to the spade house at the opera, which was not empty at that time (Monday evening at 20.30), but still had enough space for two lost souls. The interior is Bavarian rustic, just as one imagines a Bavarian host house in Preussen and accordingly two German tourists from Saxony were on the right of us and left of us an American has shown his business partner the bavarian way of life. But Kuffler, tourist trap, the food was really excellent: a tasty swammer soup, a delicate stag-back steak and finally a homemade Bavarian Cream, all top-class. To this end, the trained, friendly service, this visit has really enjoyed what you want more.
The spa house at the opera is always recommended. At the bottom, the hospitality industry is more typical for Munich, but high levels, i.e. more so bussi-bussi-like, but also easily suitable for business dinners. However, if you are on time, you should reserve one of the first OG and one of the coveted tables on the window, so that you can enjoy a magnificent view of Max-Joseph Square and the National Theatre, especially in the evening of course. The appetizers (sinks and goose ham) with peasant bread and small Brez’n are simply wonderful. Especially the dims are simply divine. Now that the pumpkin season is not so complete, you should try this fantastic pumpkin foam soup with curry, ginger, honey and steiric pumpkin seed oil. Incomparable. Also the pumpkin risotto with giant robes, the Zanderfilet on Balsamico-Linsengemüse and the Spanferkel were excellent, and the meat was very tender. The price-performance ratio is absolutely balanced, especially for Munich. Very recommended!
