Was Michael Schuett at The Salted Fry a mag?
The Salted Fry has some of the best fries and sandwiches anywhere in the Greater Orlando area! Not only that, this place is also gluten free!! You can’t even tell a difference! They have an amazing selection of sauces, loaded fries, poutine, drinks, sandwiches, and more! Their sauces are really what takes the fries to the next level don’t be afraid to get adventurous and try some unique combinations! My mentality is,... View all feedback.

What Scott Stevens dislikes about The Salted Fry:
We were across the street during the art festival and decided we would get lunch there. Called and tried to place an order for pick up, but the kid said they are not accepting orders for pick up right now because they are too busy with a line out the door. Again, we were right across the street looking at them. There was no line. So we gave our money to one of the food vendors. What type of restaurant business doesn’... View all feedback.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. I was disappointed by the additional charge for using a credit card. Since most people prefer to pay with credit cards, restaurants should reconsider this policy. I will be looking into other dining options that do not have this fee in the future.

I cannot praise this place enough. The entire menu is gluten-free, including beer and desserts. The sandwiches were just as delicious as regular bread. Perfect for those with gluten dietary restrictions.

We were in search of a quick lunch and were craving some fries. We were extremely satisfied with what we got! We ordered a Peaked Hill and a couple of sodas. The large size was more than enough for two people, as we couldn't even finish it. The restaurant is a bit small, but there is seating both indoors and outdoors. The drinks are a bit pricey and are individually bottled. They also offer alcoholic beverages such as beer, cider, and wine slushies. As for parking, the restaurant is located in downtown Mount Dora and finding close parking can be challenging, but there are several free parking lots in the surrounding area.

My first experience at this location and it was during the arts festival so upon opening things went smooth but it was busy. Took about 10 minutes to receive our food after ordering. Which was fair due to the crowd. Food was priced fairly and they have nice options, not just fries. The fries are good. They're the fresh type. I had the Emma's chicken sandwich and it was very good. Husband had a mushroom cheeseburger and he said it was good but a tad dry. Another friend of ours had the cheese steak which he enjoyed also. The portions were also comparably priced to the size. I cannot comment on the drinks because we didn't order any, but I don't think they have standard fountain drinks. However, I did not notice a drink menu so I can't say for sure. I did see some of the higher and bottled sodas there but I don't know what all they have. The girl that took her order was very nice and pleasant. It's definitely a place that I would like to try again during a regular visit, not during a festival. It is counter service but they do or at least did bring the food to our table. There is also an outdoor patio for dining. Parking: There's no parking during festivals, however during other times there would be street parking. Sometimes it's easy to find depending on the time and day and which day you go. But of course during more popular meal times or seasons you might have to walk a block or so or go over to the free parking lot. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, Cheesesteak Panini, French Fries, Smash Burger Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking

Your menu looks amazing. I am allergic to wheat and wish there was a Salted Fry in Omaha, Nebraska.
