Mount Airy Inn - Mt Airy

The personal inn is delightful. service and eating were very good

What a hidden shade to find in mt. airy. this gem of the restaurant is located in a small shopping center. this inn has its own charm. the personal was great. the server was very attentive. apps and escaped came out quickly. the portions were very generous. I mean, how generous over the left. this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had the meat with potatoes and vegetables. the meat lamb part is from this world. it would have used a bit more spicy, but all in all, it was delicious and fill. the inn also has a full bar if you want to add something spiritual to your culinary experience. while the inn is in northern montgomery county, it is less than 45 minutes from ww, 40 minutes from silver jump and 28 minutes from columbia. the visit worth. bon apetit.

The one real issue is that despite making a reservation on Open Table several days in advance, the restaurant had no notice of it. They were very accommodating and promised us the next open table, but what happened to the reservation?

Mount Airy Inn is my go to place to feel comfortable. It’s ambiance is homey. The service is consistently good and the menu is wonderful.

I heard mixed reviews about this place do wanted check out for myself. I expected better food. My husband had Inn hamburger and it looked like it was a frozen patty cooked, perfectly round like get in grocery store, it clearly wasn't fresh. He said didnt taste freshly made. I had pretzel and cheese dip. Pretzels which looked exactly like the super pretzel bought in grocery store in frozen section. Also had Cobb salad but they it was ok chicken over cooked. The service was good , was attentive ,until it got busy. We both agree we wouldnt go back and wouldnt recommend.
