What Thierry Rabearijao doesn't like about Fontaine Clerissy:
3 stars because I think it’s average : Breton restaurant (according to the menu) in the Var. The pancakes are classic, nothing more. I ordered a Thai dish in a Breton restaurant in the Var, spot the mistake it was super spicy (not spicy but spicy), I can still tolerate chili but for the whole dish it was too much. Service: there was only one server so a bit of a wait even though it is a small restaurant. No more, not smiling but not unpleasant. If you are very hungry and all the restaurants around are full, enjoy your meal.
In addition to not being able to pay with a machine or a card, at 14:30 they declare that they have closed the kitchen. We then order three sandwiches, two beers and a glass of wine. They sit after us two boys, they ask for food, kitchen closed. They just want to drink. I can't. They're leaving them. Later, more gentlemen sit down, order the pancakes. Magic. Open kitchen. No comment. they realized that we have become aware of such incomprehensible attitudes. Would they be zero star if they don't pay atm card? to report to the authorities and make known bad management, improvised and superficial. (original notice) oltre a non matere pagare con il bancomat o la carta, alle 14,30 dichiarano di avere chiuso la cucina. ordiniamo quindi tre panini, due birre ed un calice di vino. siedono dopo di noi due ragazzi, chiedono di mangiare, cucina chiusa...vorrebbero solo bere...impossibile... li fanno andare via. ancora più tardi siedono altri signori, ordinano le crêpes...magia...cucina aperta. incommentabile. if sono accorti che ci siamo accorti di tali incomprensibili atteggiamenti. meriterebbero zero stelle, al momento di pagare niente carta bancomat? da indicare alle autorità e rendere nota la pessima gestione, improvvisata e superficiale.
Beautiful place on the way to the parking lot. fast and pleasant service. fresh and generous dishes. not excessive in the price. I highly recommend
Excellent little restaurant. We've been having fun! Salads are very good and copyy. the bacon, onion, reblochon and potatoes is excellent. The rosé is excellent!!!! I strongly recommend this little restaurant.
Very fat salad and slow service despite a very beautiful setting. we were there in the middle of the summer, which can explain...
Bad for the savory pancake... very dry... a little butter to decorate the dish would not have been a luxury... Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
